11/16/08 Finally we have listed our Crucible steels. We have started to carry CPM154 and CPM-D2. Both are top notch steels. One is stainless, the other high carbon smelted using the exceptionally clean process of double vacuum particle technology from Crucible. We will be adding additional sizes and different steels as time (and money) allows. Send me a note ( tracy@usakms.com ) if you have any preferences and I will see what I can do.

10/25/08 We are going through a major revision to our Micarta/G10 page. It had degenerated to pure chaos. What is new: Tan G10, Yellow G10, Tan/Black G10, Burgundy Linen Micarta. Several other 'missing' sizes have been added. We have revised some pictures and will revise the others to a better color representation. Still lot's more work left to get this all cleaned up but you should end up with a much larger (and easier) selection to shop from. Thanks for your business. Tracy

10/18/08 We are cleaning up some things. We need the room. Check the SPECIALS PAGE for some items we are clearing out or just reducing our inventory on. These may sell out with out notice. We will do our best to list only those items we have remaining stock on but we may have to simply refund some items ordered if they are sold out before we can revise the web site.

We have reduced the price on our Norax 9"x11" sheets and 9" discs by nearly 1/2 off. These items will likely not be picked back up when we sell out so get them now while you can.

10/11/08 We have added Pyrex glass. This is used to line your flat platen for a flat surface that wears much slower than steel and is very slippery compared to steel platens for less friction heat.
10/8/08 Yet another new line of knife cases. These will really round out our assortment. A 12pack, 16pack or 18pack folder case plus a new couple smaller zip cases.

9/21/08 We have added a new line of knife cases. The problem is they are large and we need some room so I have listed them at a low price to begin with and then put them on a special price for a couple weeks. Have a look here.

We are dual branding to USA Knife Maker Supply, LLC. It's just a name change for more clearer marketing purposes. We will continue to use Midwest Knifemakers Supply, LLC and the domain www.midwestknifemakers.com for the next several months.
